The inward life is more important than our outward lives.
Our being is more important than our behaviors, in other words.
Why do I say this? It is because we can act and look perfect on the outside, but be very ugly, wrong, and sinful on the inside.
For example, a great deal of serial killers and terrorists are not believed to be by their neighbors.
