WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GO THROUGH THIS BOOK AND SERIES?
1 At least three versions of the Bible, preferably ten or more (see either: http://BibleGateway.com or http://YouVersion.com or http://biblehub.com/. They are FREE and are easy to use.) 
2 A prayer journal
3 Time
4 Commitment

FOUR IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE STUDY OF EACH PSALM AND EACH VERSE:
1 Read the Bible
2 Pray the Word
3 Study the Bible
4 Apply the Bible 
5 Write a summary

HOW DO YOU READ THE BIBLE?
Prayer journal as you read each of these three ways:
a Read all the way through the verse first.
b Then, read four verses before it and after it.
c Then, read a chapter before and after it. 

HOW DO YOU PRAY THE WORD?
After you read the Bible the three different ways listed above, then, pray the verse you are focusing on today. Pray before you read anything more. Write your prayer in your prayer journal. What is god revealing to you? What stands out to you and why? 
Then, go word for word and prayer journal add pray as you go.
Then, read phrase per phrase, pray and prayer journal as you go. 
Then, read line by line, pray and prayer journal as you go. 
Read the entire verse, pray and prayer journal as you go. 

HOW DO YOU STUDY THE BIBLE?  
Look at cross-references. 
Look at other commentaries.

APPLY THE BIBLE
As you read, pray, and study, ask God to reveal to you how this verse applies to you and your life and what it means for you and your life. Prayer journal what He says.

SUMMARY
Write a summary of everything you learned, God said, what you said to God, what you're going to apply to your life, and what it all means (summary).
